ABOUT US

OGBEIDE CHARITY FOUNDATION is a registered nonprofit, non-governmental, and non-political organization, based in the United States and Nigeria. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the foundation is dedicated to charitable, educational, and public service activities that improve the health and well-being of those living in the Onipede Street communities of Lagos State Nigeria.

The Ogbeide Charity Foundation began as an independent charity effort by then-nurse Jonah Victor Ogbeide in 2014. At the time, Dr. Ike was a registered nurse, wife, and mother living and working in Maryland, USA. During her annual visits to Nigeria, she observed the rising challenges in her home region of Lagos State, including health issues, poverty, housing crises, educational barriers, and limited access to affordable nutrition. Recognizing her unique position, she committed to giving back and transforming the lives of her community.

What started as a humble family initiative involving herself, her husband, and their four children, grew into an international effort supported by volunteers, financial donors, and health organizations from both the United States and Nigeria.

As of 2024, the Ogbeide Charity Foundation, named after Princess Chief Dr. Mrs. Jonah Victor Ogbeide, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a newly incorporated nonprofit, non-governmental, and non-political Indigenous organization. It was established in both the United States and Nigeria with a core mission to positively impact humanity. The Foundation is officially registered in both countries, aiming to provide healthcare services, education, and, most importantly, empowerment to the underprivileged. Our goal is to inspire hope and dignity, enabling individuals to lead fulfilling, productive lives and alleviate the suffering of those in need.

At the Ogbeide Charity Foundation, we envision a world where equitable access to healthcare, quality education, sustainable environments, and economic empowerment is achievable for all. Our vision is to uplift communities by breaking the cycle of poverty, providing individuals with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive and create a brighter future for themselves and for generations to come.

Dear Friends and Supporters,
